David Ardukhanian, violinist
David Ardukhanian was born in Krasnogorsk in a family of musicians in 1990. He started playing the violin when he was 4 and the first teacher was his father, who later had a great influence on the violinist. David In 1997, he entered the Central Music School to the legendary Galina Stepanovna Turchaninova, who raised the world-famous violinist Maxim Vengerov. In 1998 he made his debut in the Great Hall of the Moscow Conservatory, where he played with the Symphony Orchestra of Central Music School performing Vivaldi Double Concerto a-moll.
In 2005, David became a student of Professor Michael Gotsdiner, and in 2010 began to study at the Honored Artist of Russia, professor Sergei Kravchenko.
He toured with solo programs in Ireland, Romania, Greece, Lithuania, Spain, Italy, Armenia, Kazakhstan, Austria, Germany, Poland, Croatia, Japan, Switzerland, Brunei, Singapore, Myanmar.
He played in the best concert halls in Russia and abroad: the Great Hall of the Moscow Conservatory, Tchaikovsky Concert Hall, Svetlanov Hall of the House of Music, Theatre of Opera and Ballet after Spendiaryan in Yerevan, Theatre Gayarre in Pamplona.
He has performed with renowned orchestras under Misha Rakhlevsky, Igor Lerman, Dmitry Orlov, Igor Frolov, Pavel Kogan, Valentine Uryupin, Anatoly Levin, Ovidiu Balan, Alexander Petukhov and others.
In 2010 he became first prizewinner of the international competition of Beethoven, held in Austria.
In 2012 he became first prizewinner at the Fourth International Violin Competition in Astana, Kazakhstan.
In 2013 he was invited to Japan in Shizuoka for master - classes.
In 2015, David Ardukhanian took second prize at the Aram Khachaturian violin competition , which is member of World Federation of Music Competitions.
And finally in 2016 and in 2017 he became prizewinner of XXXV and XXXVI Rodolfo Lipizer violin competition held in Italy.
He took part in a unique master class of Jegudi Menuhin, held in Moscow. And also in the master - classes of Boris Kushnir, Zakhar Bron, Dmitriy Sitkovetskiy, Maxim Vengerov.
